Yes.  It is in fact the only requirement to be a Legion Rider.  You must be a member in good standing..
It does not cost anything extra to join the Legion Riders.  If your dues are up to date for the Legion that is all you must pay.  Of course, swag, vests, motorcycles cost money but those are choices not requirements
The Legion riders are neither a M/C or an R/C.  The are a unit of the Legion, like the colour party.  You must be a Legion member to participate. 

We strive to get along with everyone as veterans and their families come from everywhere.  

We are a group that is here for Veterans and Legion Members. 
No, there is no minimum level.  We would hope you attend meetings and participate in Legion and charity events.  We are hosts of the Annual Ride for Hospice now and volunteers are essential for success.  
By participating you can make new friend, get out of the house, go for motorcycle rides with one person or the group.  There is so much to gain by participating but you odn't have to.
3rd Annual Ride for Huntsville Hospice
This year, 2025, the Legion Riders BR-232 take over the helm from The USS Nomad NCC 72382-A , Star Trek Fan organization.  The Legion Riders have started planning and prepping for this event which will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 21 Veterans Way, Huntsville, Ontario.

It is with great honour and respect we the LR take up the task to help Huntsville Hospice raise funds to keep the organization running in the community.

The Legion Riders were active and significant participants in this years ceremonies. One member was the local COGECO guest host for the live broadcast, two members walked in the colour party and 3 members laid wreaths at the cenotaph.

The Star Trek Club working with the Legion Riders completed their 5th event for the Canadian Walk for Veterans and True Patriot Love Foundation. As the LR participated this year a Motorcycle Ride was incorporated to be completed the same time as the walk. 12 Legion Riders participated. All Riders and Walkers then attended the Legion for Food and comradery.

2nd Annual Ride for Huntsville Hospice put on by the USS Nomad Star Trek club. 91 Riders participated, 10 Legion Riders participated. The event raised over $5700 for Hospice this year. MPP Graydon Smith was also in attendance.
